The National Civil War Museum

The National Civil War Museum bills itself as the only museum to tell the whole story of the Civil War without bias.  It uses interactive displays to showcase a wide arrange of artifacts covering all aspects of the War.

Valley Forge National Historical Park

Valley Forge is the site of the Continential Army's 1777-1778 winter encampment.  The visitors center includes a museum, while the park includes reconstructed soldiers huts and the remains of defensive fortifications.

Pennsylvania National Guard Museum

This museum is devoted to the history of the citizen-soldiers of Pennsylvania.  The Museum is located on the grounds of the headquarters of the Pennsylvania National Guard.  It is located on of the barracks buildings constructed prior to World War II.

Brandywine Battlefield Historic Park

Brandywine Battlefield is a small piece of the original Revolutionary War battleground.  It includes a museum and visitors center, as well as an original farmstead and a reconstruction of Washington's Headquarters.
